Modern cars in general and EVs in particular are becoming increasingly difficult to adapt. This is due to technology, but also due to regulations that do not take disabled drivers into account. Car manufacturers and inspection authorities are developing technology and regulations in the run-up to increasingly autonomous driving, but it will take at least another decade before door-to-door transport is available. We must ensure that adapted driving remains possible in the intervening period! Bever is an active member of the EMG.
